This has been a very interesting battle on a marketing sense. All in all, I would give Netflix good marks for their initial strategical outmaneuvering of a video rental giant. However, as with all industries when you are the big dog you can act slowly. It took Blockbuster several years to get on board with Web site video rental and yet they have begun to reclaim their market.
